Korean norms.

Korean culture varies a lot from American culture. One thing I found interesting is that infant have no separation from their mother in the first two years of life. In South Korea this is a culture norm. Day care is not an option. This differs from American Culture because we have more single family households. The mother has a certain number of month that they can take maternity leave. So there are many children that attend daycare as soon an their mother has to return to work. Im some cases the child may go to a grandparent's house as well.

Social norms of every culture is different. One difference in culture is greeting. We all greet differently. In South Korea handshaking and bowing are standard greetings in South Korea. Handshaking is more popular among men that women. The proper handshake is shaking with your left hand while supporting your forearm with your left hand. Korean women will not shake hands with a Western man. However, Western women will shake hands with a Korean men. Bowing is also a way of greeting in Korean. There is a certain bow as well. A full bow is considered a respectful greeting. However a quarter bow would be considered disrespectful.

This is how Koreans shake hands with the left hand supporting the right. https://www.dramafever.com/news/eggbuns-culture-note-series---15-korean-greeting-manners-you-should-be-aware-in-korea/

Social norms differ everywhere. Sometimes the norm is a slight difference sometimes it is a major difference. Before we decide to take trips to other countries we should consider their social norms. One thing you do not want to do is be disrespectful to their culture. Even here in America it is good to be aware of other cultural norms. We are a melting pot and there are people here who continue to be deeply rooted in their culture while living in America.
